Balmer Lawrie Launches Construction Chemicals

 

Chennai, 06 January, 2012: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Mini Ratna 1 PSE under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, today launched a unique poly carboxylate based Superplasticiser (SNF based), CON FLO UNF-5, for the site mixed concrete applications, in retail pack size of 20kg at their office “Balmer Lawrie House” in Anna Salai, Chennai, in the presence of important guests & customers. Balmer Lawrie R&D has successfully developed this product for high strength concrete application. Speaking on the occasion, Shri K Gopinathan, Executive Director said that this small pack will be within the reach of small builders to enable them to use super plasticisers in their construction activities.

Balmer Lawrie has a strong presence in the Performance Chemicals business and in the year 2010, the Company entered in the field of Construction Chemicals in technical collaboration with MUHU Construction Chemicals Co. Ltd., Beijing, China. The products are manufactured at its dedicated manufacturing facility at Manali, Chennai. An exclusive concrete testing facility has been established at Perugudi, Chennai for performance testing of the products.

In its endeavor to continuously respond to customer needs, Balmer Lawrie has developed and launched a number of products for site mixed concrete application. In addition, products have been formulated and offered for concrete batching plants and ready mix concrete units.
